Hello there!

George and I love 2 things the most, after each other of course, the first is seeing new places around the world and the second is eating the food in those places.  We enjoy a range of experiences, food, and lodging at all price points.  We don’t always splurge and we don’t always budget because we feel that life isn’t all one way or the other.  There are perfect times for both!  So you’ll find we focus on food quite a bit on our travels.  I often post my restaurant reviews on Google because one of my secret joys is food photography.  We also like taking our time in an area, if we have the time and means. Some may call it slow travel but we stick to our earlier philosophy, which is, it’s not all one way.  Sometimes we only have a couple days and sometimes it could be months or years.  We hope you enjoy our travels and that it inspires you to do the same.

Well, Hi! I’m a huge travel fanatic and enjoy dragging George all over the world. I grew up in many different countries and have visited even more…and I don’t plan on stopping! I am a trained chef and former spa director, so I do lean toward the little pleasures of life. You can usually find me staring at the ocean, cooking, taking pictures or planning our next adventure. And most of all, I love to inspire others to overcome their travel fears and just do it.

Originally from New Jersey, George is a certified car nut, conspiracy theorist, yogi, and metaphysical enthusiast. He loves to drive fast and knows more about cars than any normal person should. As an unofficial foodie, he loves to explore new cuisine and describe it in detail (to me). His mild manner and philosophical musings have earned him the nickname of Buddha George. You’ll usually find him at the patisserie, on his driving simulator, or on the yoga mat.
